Mozee Motorsports has no experience or interest requirements. All are welcome, and the team will assist new members in learning any skills needed to become a contributing part of the team. Whether the interest is machining, electronics, vehicle dynamics, or project management, there is real work to do and people ready to teach it.
How to Join
- Come to an All Team Meeting. The team meets every Monday at 6:00pm in room S-341. This is the best first step; show up, meet the team, and see what is currently being worked on.
- Get set up. New members complete account setup and are added to the team's Microsoft Teams workspace, where communication, scheduling, and documents live.
- Complete shop training. Working on the car requires garage and shop training. Completing the machine shop training session in person is recommended.
- Learn the rulebook and pick a subteam. New members get familiar with the competition rulebook, then choose a subteam on the mechanical side (chassis, controls, powertrain, integration) or the electrical side (high voltage, low voltage).
Not sure which subteam fits? The Who We Are page describes what each subteam does.
